Chris Gayle, or Christopher Henry Gayle, is one of the best T-20 players in cricket history. Chris Gayle started to learn cricket at Lucas Cricket Club in Kingston, Jamaica, and from there, he gradually began to like batting and hone his skill more in batting rather than bowling. Chris Gayle debuted for West Indies at the international level when he played for the U-19 team. After that, he played in the world cup, and soon after that, he also made his first-class cricket debut on the Jamaican side. In 2018 he then was bought by Kings XI Punjab and will be the playing from Punjab Kings in IPL 2022. Punjab Kings are hoping that Gayle will help in winning their first-ever IPL this year.

Chris Gayle has shown his potential in every corner of the world as he has played a tournament for many cricket franchise teams. Matabeleland Tuskers also signed him for the 2011 Stanbic Bank 20 Series. He also played in the KFC Big Bash League of Australia and was picked up by Sydney Thunder. He performed well in his first Big Bash League Tournament by becoming the tournament’s leading run-scorer. Chris Gayle has the record for most centuries hit in T-20 cricket matches, and he sits comfortably on this record with 22 centuries to his name. He also scored the fastest half-century in the T-20 match in IPL, where he scored the half-century in just 12 balls. Not only this, he has the highest total of 175 not out in his T-20 career. He also has scored a century in just 30 balls, making a record in T-20 cricket history. So now you can get an idea why he is considered the best batsman in T-20 cricket. He is also the most capped player for his national team West Indies.

He has scored more than  14,000 runs in the T-20 cricket and is known for hitting massive sixes, which is why he also has the highest number of sixes in T-20.
